The program will look at where investment is going, how companies can build clinical and commercial traction, and which technologies could shape the next phase of the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Moving Neurotechnology into Clinical Practice<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Receiving regulatory clearance is only one step toward adoption. New sessions will address what companies need to do to earn clinician support, fit into health system workflows, and build confidence in emerging therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How hospitals and health systems evaluate new neurotechnology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What clinicians need before incorporating a new therapy into standard practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building physician champions, referral pathways, and workable clinical processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using real-world evidence to support adoption and strengthen the evidence base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program will also consider where pharmaceutical and device companies may find common ground on combination therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pad-top\"><strong>BCI\u2019s AI Moment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brain-computer interfaces and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly intertwined. The 2026 program will separate practical applications from hype and focus on the technical, regulatory, and ethical questions that still need answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improving decoding performance outside controlled laboratory settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regulatory pathways for adaptive and learning-based closed-loop systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ownership, privacy, and protection of neural data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where large language and foundation models may improve BCI decoding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session will also address ethical boundaries for neuroadaptive and mood-sensing technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pad-top\"><strong>Bioelectronic Medicine and Noninvasive Neurotech<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2026 agenda expands its coverage of bioelectronic medicine, peripheral nerve stimulation, wearables, and noninvasive neuromodulation. These sessions will look at both clinical opportunity and market positioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How peripheral nerve stimulation may complement or compete with spinal cord stimulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding applications beyond pain into inflammation, metabolic disease, and autonomic disorders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The evidence needed to support noninvasive neuromodulation claims<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consumer, medical-grade, direct-to-consumer, and clinical channel strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers will also discuss the manufacturing and miniaturization challenges that are specific to peripheral nerve stimulation devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pad-top\"><strong>Preparing to Scale<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As neurotechnology companies move beyond early prototypes, manufacturing and commercialization become much harder to ignore. New programming will address the practical work required to produce devices reliably and at commercial volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Materials science and miniaturization advances supporting the next generation of implants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manufacturing challenges as companies move from prototype to production<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Where major medtech companies and strategic investors are placing long-term research and development bets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pad-top\"><strong>New Areas of Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new session will bring together several areas that are gaining attention across the neurotechnology community. Short presentations will lead into a broader discussion of where the science and commercial opportunities may be heading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The brain-gut axis, vagal stimulation, and enteric neuromodulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The intersection of neurotechnology and women\u2019s health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neural interfaces, robotics, assistive technologies, and advanced prosthetics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading pad-top\"><strong>More Emerging Companies Throughout the Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneur presentations will take place throughout both days of the Forum. Each session will feature a different group of start-up and growth-stage companies, giving attendees more opportunities to hear about emerging technologies and business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Four entrepreneur panels across the two-day program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A different group of presenting companies in each session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More opportunities to identify potential partners, investments, and new technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional speakers, presenting companies, and session details will be announced as the agenda develops.
